The place is Skeppsta hytta, where you are received by the glass artist Ebba von Wachenfeldt. This will be a unique experience, where you also get to take home your own works. Overnight accommodation takes place at Låsta Farm Hotel. Scope: 1.5 day.
Glass blowing at Skeppsta hytta
Skeppsta glass hytta is located in what used to be Skeppsta school along road 223 between Mariefred and Björnlunda. Here, the famous glass artist Ebba von Wachenfeldt forms all kinds of glass. There is also the glass cabin, where you can see how the glass is formed from the hot glass mass, a shop where Ebba’s objects are for sale, and an art gallery and café.
Treat yourself to an extraordinary experience with some friends or colleagues. After an introduction and demonstration, you’ll have to shape and blow the hot glass. The visitor gets to scoop, cut, blow and shape it into a drinking glass, a ball or something else. Anyone who blows a glass also gets to bring home the works created.
Price: SEK 3,570 (including VAT). Note! The price applies per person with overnight accommodation in double rooms for a group of 8-12 people.
Day 1
10.00 Arrival Skeppsta, collection and coffee.
10.30–17.00 Glass blowing with interruptions for lunch, consisting of glass oven baked potatoes with accessories and afternoon coffee.
18.00 Dinner and overnight stay at Låsta Farm Hotel.
Day 2
9.00 Breakfast buffet at Låsta Gårdshotell.
10.30–12.30 Arrival Skeppsta hytta for cold processing of the self-made glass products.
12.30–13.30 Soup lunch and finish.
